When you're trying to learn how to sign and need a little help (maybe because you're not sure about some of the signs, or maybe because you've forgotten some of those pesky letters) it is always best to turn to professionals. That's why we've put together this article with 40+ flash cards for anyone learning ASL. With the help of these flash cards you will be able to memorize the most commonly used signs and gain a lot of confidence, eventually you'll even be able to learn and use more signs without needing any help! The first thing we'd like to point out is that we've included three different kinds of flash cards: Easy, Hard and Difficult. The whole idea behind this is that as you keep practicing, some of those Hard and Difficult cards will become as easy as pie, as they say. So don't worry if some of those cards look hard at first; with time it'll be easier than you think. The first step is to gather the signs you will be making. After that I would strongly suggest being handed a handout where the signs are on it. That way you can just reference the cards instead of having to look for them in print or online. I used pdf's of ASL sign ladders online with no problem, so I would expect they are perfectly usable for making your own. Next up is finding a font that matches your chosen font set, namely for this project it was Papyrus Pro by Vector Magic . Then onto the layout, then onto sharing the design online/ printing/ cutting them out /painting them /painting color symbols on them etc etc... eccc085e13
